What should you expect at your first sound bath?

At your first sound bath, expect to arrive a little early, settle onto a floor spot or chaise fully clothed with an eye mask, and spend about an hour lying still while live sound and guided meditation move through the room; there is nothing you need to do but rest.

If it is your first time, here is the whole arc. You arrive a few minutes early, find a spot to lie down (floor mats, anti-gravity chaises, and yoga hammocks are available), and get comfortable with a pillow and blanket. The lights come down. For about an hour, a guide leads gentle breathing and meditation while live gong, singing bowls, and frequencies fill the room, with soft light projection overhead.

You do not have to empty your mind, sit a certain way, or know anything in advance. Thoughts will come and go, and that is normal. Most people feel the body relax within the first several minutes. When the session ends, there is a slow return, and many people describe feeling calm, clear, and rested.

Come as you are. All are welcome, and no experience is needed.

What do you wear to a sound bath?

Wear comfortable, loose clothing you can lie down in for an hour, and bring layers since bodies cool down when still.

Do you have to meditate correctly?

No. There is no correct way. You simply lie down and listen. The guide and the sound do the work.
